The class is designed to introduce the basics by using examples of how to create and manipulate an IF statement, a nested IF Statement, an IF And and an IF Or. Next we move to the creation of a Pivot Table and Chart. The class discusses when to use a Pivot Table and how to manipulate it to achieve your goals. Introduction to Microsoft Access 2010 is returning!
This is for the beginner. This four session course will create a database using Access 2010. Tables are the foundation of an Access database. Session one we create tables from scratch, from templates, and from importing the data from Excel. Session two we use these tables in Queries which extract the requested data. (My favorite class!) Session three we use our tables and queries to build user data entry forms and build customized reports from our queries. The last session we review by modifying our database adding a table, a query, create a new form and new report. Sessions are offered 2:00p to 3:30p on 2/20, 2/22, 2,27, and 2/29.
